Dock to Dish: Vancouver, BC

Vancouver is home to Canada’s very first Dock to Dish Restaurant Supported Fishery programme, which is operated exclusively by Skipper Otto, one of the most the renowned and respected family-run community supported fishery operations in North America.

Leading the program from the culinary side is the foremost sustainable seafood advocate in the restaurant industry, Ned Bell. Ned is not only the executive chef of the Vancouver Aquarium but also the founder of the Chefs for Oceans foundation, a remarkable initiative that is leading a movement to allow every Canadian to easily and readily access sustainable seafood for themselves and their families within the next ten years.
